Press Release Summary = Sugar Loaf NY, Orange County\'s Premiere Arts Hamlet, is
closing Main Street for it\'s First Annual \"S*M*A*S*H\" (Sugar Loaf*Music*
Arts*Sports*Hiking) Summer Street Party, featuring a street-art competition,
footraces, hikes, kids\' activities, live music, food, a baking contest, and more!

Press Release Body = Bohemian Sugar Loaf, New York, Orange County\'s premiere arts
community, will close it\'s main street on August 26th for \"S*M*A*S*H\", an all-day
street party, featuring a $500.00 grand prize Street Art competition,(one half of
the street will be a canvas for artists, chalk provided by the community vision
committee), a 50 meter footrace, a Bake-off, Guided hikes to spectacular views on
the Broadview Preserve and Sugar Loaf Mountain, Live Music and poetry on the Lycian
Lawn, angling demonstrations at Swetlow\'s Pond, and a wide array of other fun
activities.


As always, our craft shops and restaurants will be open, as well.
All proceeds from the event will be used toward the beautification of the hamlet
via the Non-Profit Sugar Loaf Community Foundation\'s \'Community Vision Committee\',
which is dedicated to enhancing the beauty and accessibility of our rustic art
hamlet.
