MTV Networks Tap Jade Esteban Estrada For Hispanic Heritage Month

comedian/actor/Latin pop singer Jade Esteban Estrada to speak in honor of Hispanic
Heritage Month from noon to 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2007 at MTV Networks’
headquarters in New York City. The annual event is entitled “Latino History Month
Panel Discussion at MTV Networks.” The event will be composed of employees from
Spike TV, Comedy Central, MTV, VH-1, Logo and other channels under the company’s

He has been featured on “The Graham Norton Effect” on Comedy Central. His music can
be heard on “The Shield” on the FX Network. Other television appearances include
“Friday Night Lights” on NBC and “In The Life” on PBS.

The former Charo choreographer and scratch vocalist for the Back Street Boys has
been known for his highly acclaimed solo theatre shows including “Tortilla Heaven”
and “ICONS: The Lesbian and Gay History of the World, Vol. 1.” His recent production
of “Pico de Gallo” has won praise from critics across the United States.

Estrada stars in the upcoming feature film, “Crosshairs” with Matthew Jasso.

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated annually from September 15-October 15.
