Infel Netplus chooses Topex Qutex for interconnection with Makedonski Telekom

Press Release Summary: Bucharest, Romania, 7 July 2008 - TOPEX, the European telecom
equipment manufacturer and NGN solution provider, announced today that Infel
Netplus, a subsidiary of the leading CaTV operator in FYROM - Infel KTV, has
deployed Qutex equipment to complete interconnection with incumbent operator,
Makedonski Telekom.

Press Release Body: Topex provided Infel Netplus with a high quality solution for
signalization and conversion between SS7 based network of Makedonski Telekom and the
IP based network of Infel. The deployment is based on three interconnection points,
in three different cities across the country, using SIGTRAN architecture.

Qutex equipment from Topex is a powerful SIP&H323 - SS7 platform providing
transparent signaling interworking between circuit switched networks and the IP
network. The standard use of the equipment allows the client to interface the PSTN
traditional network through E1 interface to IP networks.
