Press Release Body:

Philadelphia, PA, July 30, 2008 -- With the Tea Club progressive rock and indie music take another step towards respectability. Hailing from the Jersey shores the multi talented three-piece, have endeavored to create a stripped down progressive rock sound modeled after their main influences King Crimson and The Beatles. Although that may sound like an odd combination it actually works out very well for the band and their sounds are indeed both progressive and pop rock on their strong new set General Winter\'s Secret Museum.

Patrick McGowan (vocals, bass, and guitar) with Brother Dan (vocals, guitar), Kyle Minnick (drums) and with addition of a new bass player Jay Barsotti, are able to keep the band going these days and replicate their complex music in a live setting after a successful studio outing.

The lead off track \"Werewolves\" will bring a picture of a gloomy Halloween night where The Beatles meet King Crimson and they start jamming in the graveyard. This is not the monster mash; it is one tale of many that will make your spine tingle as the album unfolds before you.

Certainly a band bent on being creative, they came up with name of their new release by using the term General Winter, a reference to the horrible weather the Germans experienced while trying to invade Russia in World War 2. Band member Pat McGowan then added in the rest of the title and the band loved it. It somehow seemed to fit just right with the flow of the album, which creates images and thoughts provoked by their powerful music.

The Tea Club is making every effort to reach music fans by playing out live in New Jersey and NY on a regular basis and have hopes of reaching an even wider audience through a widespread marketing campaign on the internet through various sites. http://mybandsmusic.com/members/680 and Myspace are two main sites where all of their tracks are either available for streaming and purchase or both.
