G. Yankovsky are being translated into English. Yankovsky suffered through the
Soviet GULAG system and came out of it alive and with the willingness to tell his
story. The books, Escape: A True Story and From the Crusades to the Gulag and Beyond
tell of the events Mr. Yankovsky had to endure during his time in the Russian GULAG
system and how his family faced the times in which they lived.

Never at a loss for words or a good story, Mr. Yankovsky gives the reader great
insight into some of the most interesting times and places of the 20th century.
Escape: A True Story chronicles Mr. Yankovsky\'s experiences during his internment in
the Soviet GULAG system. From the Crusades to the Gulag and Beyond has a wider scope
and relates the stories and experiences of Yankovsky and his family.

Mr. Yankovsky lived during the reign of one the most brutal dictators in all of
history in Joseph Stalin. He still lives in Russia at the age of 96 and has outlived
his captors and Stalin himself. Mr. Yankovsky grew up in a White Russian settlement
in North Korea in which he helped to build. He was a big game hunter during his time
in Korea and Manchuria. His stories have fascinated Russian readers and are now
available to English speaking audiences.
