`Fill My Eyes`, a novel of society`s ills

Released on: October 26, 2008, 6:56 am

Press Release Author: Terry D. Robertson

Industry: Entertainment

Press Release Summary: "Fill My Eyes" has a street date of 11/8/08, but is available
online at all major book sites.

Press Release Body: "Fill My Eyes" to quote a reviewer, "Is an unusual and unique
read.". The premise of the book set 50 years ago, reflects today's problems. What if
we lived in a society with minimal family and Christian values? The answer is
"dysfunctional". All the characters in this book are extreme composites of some of
the worst flaws to plague mankind: narrow minded bigotry, intolerance, prejudgment,
religious mania/hypocrisy, hedonism, abandonment and neglect. Caught in the middle
of this is a four year old boy who has been raised since infancy, by his older
brother. The boy is insecure and co-dependent. The older brother is striving for
normalcy after a lifetime of having nothing. He is met every step of the way with
obstacles set by others or of his own creation. The first person to read "Fill My
Eyes" stated: "This book is so vividly written, I feel like I am in the room with
these characters, and it makes me uncomfortable! It is compact and in mid paragraph
a new question can pop up to be answered later after further reading. A very
different type of mystery and a novel of the human condition."

A note of interest. This is the only time that the publisher's Art Department has
taken the time to read the book to capture what is truly a unique and valid cover
for this book.
