Tampa Video Production Company Starts The Countdown For Space Race Documentary

Released on: October 7, 2008, 2:58 am

Press Release Author: Mike Weber

Industry: Entertainment

Press Release Summary: Tampa video production company CMR Studios is producing a
documentary about the 40 years since Apollo 11 with a RED ONE Camera.

Press Release Body: Tampa, FL, October 07, 2008 -- This unique date on the calendar,
10-9-8, sets the tone for new website launched today. Tplus40.com features a
countdown clock to mark the time that Apollo 11 lifted off for the moon in 1969.
Tampa video production company CMR Studios is also starting production on a
documentary series of the same name that will have a different perspective than the
many already done.

Written and produced by Mike Weber, the series "T Plus 40" will be the first to
explore the historic locations that were at the starting line of the space race and
compare well known archive footage with the present day. Weber said "The ten years
that lead up to landing on the moon brought an evolution of technology like none
other in history. It was a very different time and where it all happened hasn't been
seen by many people. This is our chance to create a valuable archive of the people,
stories and places that were at the pinnacle of scientific achievement."

The show will be shot in Ultra High Definition using the RED ONE Digital Cinema
Camera. For the stories that have not been heard before, the producers will be
seeking individuals who worked in the early space program, witnessed tests, launches
or had a close association with the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo astronauts. They are
also looking for home movies and personal photos from the era. The new website
http://www.Tplus40.com has a sign-in page to gather their contact information for
interviews.
