A chance to mingle with stars of the small screen awaits people attending the National Television Awards in London next month.

Taking place at the O2 Arena on Wednesday January 25th, the prestigious ceremony will be hosted by X Factor's Dermot O'Leary and promises to be a spectacular event.

The show, which will also be broadcast live on ITV1, is designed to honour the biggest TV stars and most successful programmes from the previous year.

Although the shortlist vote does not open until January, attendees can expect many of their favourite shows to be in the running for a gong.

The 2011 awards saw EastEnders named best serial drama, Waterloo Road win best drama and E4 comedy The Inbetweeners take the digital choice prize, while veteran entertainer Sir Bruce Forsyth received a special recognition award.

Stars such as Simon Cowell, Stephen Fry and Louie Spence also made appearances, while X Factor winner Matt Cardle performed live.

Tickets for the event are available online, priced between £20 and £32.50 plus booking fee. The show will begin at 18:30 GMT.
