LateRooms.com - Katherine Jenkins to perform in Bournemouth

Author: LateRooms Ltd
Industry: Travel

Fans of classical music star Katherine Jenkins can see the singer live in Bournemouth on Thursday February 9th.

The Welsh mezzo-soprano is set to perform songs from her latest album Daydream when she appears at the Windsor Hall, as well as popular tracks from earlier in her career.

Jenkins released her debut LP Premiere in 2004 and is one of the few classical artists to achieve major crossover success in the UK.

Having recently completed her first arena tour, she deliberately selected smaller venues for her latest trip out on the road.

"Daydream is a very intimate album and I wanted my tour to reflect that. It's a chance for my fans to see me up close and personal in some of the UK's most beautiful theatres," the 31-year-old explained.

The new LP is a collection of classical, traditional, folk and pop songs that have inspired the performer, including tunes such as Black Is the Colour (Of My True Love's Hair) and Carrickfergus.

Tickets to see Jenkins perform in Bournemouth are available online, priced between £27.50 and £65.

Classical music fans can browse LateRooms.com for a varied selection of places to stay in Bournemouth , with the Bamboo Guest House recommended for those seeking stylish boutique accommodation.
