Industry: Travel

The Arts House venue in Singapore is preparing to play host to Don't Forget to Remember, an exhibition that will showcase fascinating contemporary art pieces, between March 1st and 9th 2012.

Taking place as part of the i-AM 2012 Festival, organised by the School of Arts Management at LASALLE College of the Arts, the show will be a visual art exhibition conceptualised and executed by six of the facility's students.

It will focus on the concept of capturing and preserving intangible memories, with exhibits embracing a number of different mediums, from photography and graffiti-strewn canvas to embroidery and QR codes.

Attendees will be able to enjoy pieces from noted young Singaporean artists, including Hafidz Senor, Izziyana Suhaimi, Kamarule and TR853-1, with Loredana Paracciani acting as curator.

Those interested in seeing the exhibition can do so between 10:00 and 22:00 local time on each day of the event.

The venue is located on Old Parliament Lane and also houses print and film galleries, as well as other exhibits, within one of Singapore's oldest and most historic buildings.

Art connoisseurs can choose from a wide range of Singapore hotels at AsiaRooms.com, such as the Fragrance Hotel.

Full event details can be found at www.dontforgettoremember.org.
